PVD plating on screws and surfaces of other sections

Based on the obtained experiences in treatments providing extreme resistance to high wear (corrosion and abrasion), the company BOCO comes with a special offer of PVD plating of working surfaces of screws and other sections based on CrN and TiN layers.

The thickness of layers accordingly with the selected type 0.002-0.009mm and hardness of layers accordingly with the selected type 1,750–2,800 HV0.05.

Service life:

• Multiplies the service life of hardened, nitrated and other similar standard thermal and surface treatments, and significantly exceeds the quality and application range, comparing to chromium-hardened and other special surface treatments.

• Very high resistance to abrasion and wear
• Very high resistance to corrosion, oxidation and various types of solvents
• Very low friction coefficient (several times lower comparing to nitrated or chromium-hardened surface treatment).
• Utilizing the adhesive properties by low adhesion extremely reduces the predisposition to sticking of materials being processed

We further offer extended application of CrN layer for PVD coatings:

• CrN-MOD-treated layer  = design with very high resistance to wear, extremely low determination toward sticking, suitable for processing of plastics and elastomers with high adhesion, such as  PMMA, POM, PUR, NBR, NR, EPDM, SBR, FPM, Fluoro-caoutchouc (PTFE, Viton), natural and synthetic rubber mixtures, modifiers, morgue and rubber blends, etc.

Layer thickness 0.003-0.009mm, hardness 2,200–2,700 HV0.05.

• CrN-MULTI- multilayer  = design with very high resistance to wear, extremely high resistance to corrosion, high level of oxidizing resistance, very smooth surface, suitable for processing of plastics (e.g. in injection moulding, extrusion, blowing), such as PA stiffened with fibreglass, PVC, PC, ABS , etc.  

Total thickness of thickly laid layers with medium PURE  by chromium layer 0.003-0.009mm, hardness 2,100-2,500 HV0.05.
