HCP WATCHDOG SENSOR

Against leaking of plastic materials (e.g. on the injection press jet, mould inlets, etc. )

In common injection press production of plastic parts, leakage occurs between the jet / mould connection resulting in material (plastic) leakage. The plastic can go along the jet all the way down to the heating strip, and cover even the entire length of the chamber / roller, and all heating strips, causing significant problems and damage.

Installing an HCP watchdog sensor prevents the following damage:  

-    Roller / chamber contamination
-    Heating strips deterioration
-    Heat insulating blanket deterioration  (if installed on the machine)
-    Machine downtime for cleaning and exchanging  
   of heating strips, when the machine cannot produce.

Installation of an HCP watchdog sensor:

Checking point of the sensor is installed on the machine jet
and detects movement of the plastic on the surface

of the jet.

The assessment part of the sensor can be placed anywhere

on the machine. If the plastic leaks on the jet surface,
the sensor starts error signalling and the machine stops
(after given product is finished).

Error signalling may be implemented by a light beacon
and sound siren.
