RENOVATIONS OF CYLINDERS IN IRONWORKS

We weld on cylinders of rolling mills at special adopted workplace in ironworks. We are able to weld on hard metal overlays for cyliders of the diameter up to 1250 mm and the length of 6000 mm at these workplaces.
We make a good quality of realization, high hardness, toughness and flatness of weld-on surface thanks to the welding-on technology by means of weld-on automatic machine of pulse pendulate regime. We use pulse plasma PTA, plasma and heat applications, pulse TIG, pulse MIG/MAG of stainless steel and hard metal materials for high-quality welding-on.
In a case of the requirement of nitrided surfaces we use gas, ionic and plasma nitration. We also offer hard chrome plating, nickel plating, metal coating, tempering, case-hardening etc. .

RENOVATION TECHNOLOGIES, THEIR ADVANTAGES AND UTILIZING IN OTHER INDUSTRIES

The BOCO Company offers the services for welding-on of the hard metal materials mainly for:

  • The companies involved in the plastic processing industry (welding-on including the consecutive screws and barrels machining)
  • The production plants for iron processing (welding-on of the mill train rolls, spindles, etc)
  • The food industry processing plants (welding-on of the cutting blades, screws, etc)
  • Cement plants, mines, brick plants (tooth systems, hoppers, scrapers, spindles, etc)
  • The automobile industry
  • The power industry
  • The transportation facilities
  • The chemical industry, etc

The costs for parts replacement in the machine park might be substantially minimized on the basis of early renovation by means of the special hard metal materials armouring.

The technological procedure for the renovation is as follows:

  • The important presumption for the lower cost of the prospective renovation is based on its early implementation
  • The welding-on of the components shall be implemented by the optimal under-weld deposit material selection with the consecutive application of the outer resistant hard metal material with required properties according to the manner of the repaired component usage
  • If necessary, we pursue the working (by grinding, polishing, machining, milling) of the built-up outer material to its original state corresponding with the parameters of a new component. All working shall be pursued on the special positioners and grinding machines. When renovating in the cement plants, brick plants or mines, in most cases there is no longer need for the upper weld deposit machining.

WELDING ON THE ARMOURED PLATES ON THE WORN OUT SURFACES:

This method of repairs of worn out surfaces is used mainly in

CEMENT PLANTS, STONE PITS, SAND PITS, BRICK PLANTS, etc.,

where the extensive wear of components due to abrasion of the processed material is expected.

The repair principle consists in the procedure where on the worn-out surface (the working parts of ground and constructional machines, excavator blades, the loading areas of the trucks, bulldozer blades, etc.), the special armoured rings are welded on. The hardness of these rings is about 60 HRc while their high abrasive resistance is maintained. For welding-on of these rings the special electrodes should be used, but the common welding aggregate will be sufficient. These rings are very easily welded on the repaired surface in any position.
